LEARNING
Student learn in many ways like seeing, hearing and experience. Some students remember materials when they have seen, some may remember things when they hear, and some more remember things when they experience physically. Learning is an automatic process. 30% population remembers what is heard, 40% population recalls visually and remaining persons remembers by experiencing.
People learn in many ways and no two people learn in exactly the same way. There is no right mix. People learning styles are also quite flexible. The parents, teachers should make the students aware of their learning styles, so that they can adopt their own learning style. This helps them to overcome his learning difficulties.
Learning styles are the manner in which people brains learn and store information. Some people learn by seeing (VISUAL), some more people learn by hearing (AUDITORY), some more learn by doing (TACTILE OR KINESTHETIC). Every child has own experiences in his/her learning stages and built his/her own bases on his/her perception or some born with one above styles of learning. There are no wrong or right approaches. Each of these styles of has own merits and demerits. Anybody can enhance his /her learning style and communication skill through a conscious approach.
Learning is difficult in this process.
1. When learner is anxious.
2. Learners past bad experiences.
3. Learner’s personal problems.
4. Learner has personal barriers and biases.
5. Learners focus on annoying mannerisms of the teacher.
