PROBLEMS AND TIPS TO OVERCOME PILES

Problem and tips to overcome piles

One of my friends asked me about this problem. So I searched for this content and compiled the article.

There are certain dogmas and inhibitions regarding piles. The people who suffered with this problem feel shy of speaking or sharing the problem with others or near and dear. There is an abundance of information on piles and hemorrhoids on the internet because of the high incidence of the condition, but despite this there is a lot of confusion on the subject. This is because most individuals are embarrassed or awkward about discussing some health problems and consider them to be of a personal nature. Very often otherwise health conscious individuals even defer going to a doctor or seeking medical treatment simply out of fear or anxiety of social discomfort. The fact is that piles problems are exceedingly common and if treated effectively can be cured permanently. Piles is not a disease, but is a condition that could be caused by some underlying infection, but there is no such thing as a piles infection. In most cases piles is simply caused due to faulty eating habits, with diets that are deficient in essential fiber, while being extremely rich in fat.

Piles

The lining of the anal canal contains three soft, spongy pads of tissue that act as an extra seal to keep the canal closed until you go to the lavatory. The lining of the gut is very slimy (so that faeces can pass along easily); the extra seal stops the slime (mucus) from leaking out. The pads contain a network of tiny blood vessels.
What are piles?

People sometimes think that piles (haemorrhoids) are like varicose veins of the legs (i.e. a single vein that has become swollen). This is not the case. A pile is one of the soft pads that has slipped downwards slightly, because the surrounding tissue is not holding it in place properly (British Medical Journal 2008;336:380–3). When this happens, the small blood vessels within the cushion become engorged with blood, so the cushion swells up. When faeces are passed, the pile may be pushed further down the anal canal to the outside, and this is called a prolapsed pile. Doctors classify piles into three types.

First-degree piles are swollen cushions that always remain within in the anal canal; these are painless.
Second-degree piles are pushed down (prolapsed) when faeces are passed, but return to their starting position afterwards.
Third-degree piles are pushed down (prolapsed) when faeces are passed, or come down at other times. They do not go back by themselves after faeces have been passed.

A sizeable number of people suffer from piles or hemorrhoids. Piles are essentially a condition that results due to the swelling of veins in and around the rectum. There are two types of piles; internal piles - where the swelling is located inside the anal passage and can be felt rather than seen; external piles - where the swelling is easily visible because they are located just outside the anus. Internal piles cause the discharge of dark colored blood whereas external piles are extremely painful with little or no blood discharge. Constipation or forcing out stools could lead to the rupture of the veins and this results in bleeding piles. This will cause internal bleeding or external bleeding, depending on the location of the rupture.

Piles symptoms, cures and treatment are connected and it is important to identify the cause of the piles for a lasting piles cure. Piles may be caused by a variety of factors apart from the most common diet causes. The direct cause being the exertion of excessive pressure on veins in the anal region causing them to get inflamed. Obesity can contribute to the development of piles and severely aggravate the problem because of increased pressure. For the same reason piles symptoms in pregnancy are not uncommon and the condition usually resolves naturally post delivery. In such scenarios simple home remedies for piles can offer a great deal of relief. Typically these would include diet remedies and modifications to your lifestyle. While there are piles remedies for quick relief it is absolutely necessary to make changes to your lifestyle and diet for a lasting cure to the condition. Failing this piles will simply keep recurring and worsen over time. In cases where piles have been caused by some underlying condition such as bowel cancer then treatment would need to address that underlying condition to cure piles.

This is one condition where home treatment is preferable as natural home remedies for piles are not just effective, but also a lot safer. Constipation is not just a contributing factor to piles, but it can make the passage of stools excruciating when suffering from piles. In such situations it may be necessary to take laxatives or seek medical help. Keep in mind however that frequent usage of laxatives can be dangerous as it may create a dependence, with lazy colon syndrome, where the bowels cannot be evacuated without consumption of a laxative. Natural laxatives like dates are therefore a much better idea. Curing piles or successfully passing stools is however not the end of the problem and it is important to make changes to your diet, including more fiber rich foods and water to prevent the problem from recurring.

Who gets piles?

Piles can occur at any age, but are more common in older people. They affect both men and women. In fact, most people suffer from piles at some time, but usually they are nothing more than a temporary problem. Many experts believe that they are caused by continuous high pressure in the veins of the body, which occurs because humans stand upright. They are particularly common in pregnancy because of the additional pressure from the baby, and because of hormonal changes. Sometimes they result from straining hard to pass faeces, which is more likely if you do not eat enough fibre, or lifting heavy weights. They are not caused by sitting on hot radiators or cold, hard surfaces, or by sedentary jobs.
What are the symptoms of piles?

The symptoms of piles can come and go. There are five main symptoms:

• bleeding, with bright red blood
• itching and irritation
• aching pain and discomfort
• a lump, which may be tender
• soiling of underwear with slime or faeces (‘skid marks’).

Itching and irritation probably occur because the lumpy piles stop acting as soft pads to keep the mucus in; instead, a little mucus leaks out and irritates the area around the anus. Pain and discomfort comes from swelling around the pile, and from scratching of the lining of the anal canal by faeces as they pass over the lumpy area. The scratching also causes bleeding, which is a fresh bright red colour and may be seen on faeces or toilet paper or dripping in the pan. A pile that has been pushed down (a second- or third-degree pile) may be felt as a lump at the anus.
How you can help yourself

Most piles get better in a few days without any treatment, but there are several ways of relieving the discomfort.
• Wash the area gently with warm, salty water, to get rid of irritant mucus that has leaked out. Dry carefully with cotton wool and apply petroleum jelly (available from pharmacies) or nappy rash cream to protect your skin if more mucus or moisture leaks out.
• Use soft toilet paper, and dab rather than wipe.
• Wear loose underwear and clothing (i.e. not tight trousers), so that nothing will rub the pile.
• Do not scratch. For more information on dealing with itch, look at the section on anal itching.
• Avoid constipation by eating lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and bran cereal. Aim for faeces that are soft enough to change their shape as you push them out.
• Drink plenty of fluids.
• After you have passed the faeces, do not strain to finish. People with piles often think there is more to come, but this is a false sensation caused by the swollen spongy pads in the piles themselves. Do not read on the toilet and aim to be out of the toilet within a minute.
• If you can feel a lump, try pushing it gently upwards; try to relax your anus as you do so.
• If you have a lot of discomfort, buy a haemorrhoid cream or gel. A pharmacist will be able to help you choose one that is suitable for you. A haemorrhoid cream or gel does not cure the pile, but will usually relieve the discomfort effectively until the pile goes away of its own accord. Do not use it for longer than a week or two.
To stop piles returning, continue the high-fibre diet to keep your stools soft and do not put off opening your bowels, and avoid straining.
To get immediate relief from external piles pain sit in hot water tub for at least 15 mintes and let the piles be exposed to water...guaranteed relief within minutes...it is effective for internal & bleeding piles also..

For itching & pain relief insert tablet size frozen clarified butter or coconut oil on piles.
Doesn’t sit on hard surface for a long time
Drink lot of water
Use more Fiber food in the Diet
Use more fruits and vegetables in the diet
Doesn’t consume oily and spicy foods
Do Halasan and Sarvagasan in yoga to overcome this problem.

When to see your doctor

See your doctor if the symptoms last longer than a week. You should also see your doctor if you have bleeding, to ensure that there is not some other cause. Your doctor will examine your anus, feel inside the anal canal and may also insert a small metal tube, called a proctoscope, an inch or two into the anal canal to give a better view. For more information, look at the section on seeing your doctor about an anal problem.

What your doctor can do

First- and second-degree piles usually go away on their own if constipation is avoided, but your doctor may prescribe a short course of haemorrhoid cream to relieve symptoms. Third-degree piles may also go away on their own, but if they persist, they may need hospital treatment.

Only a few people need an operation; most are treated by banding or phenol injections. There is usually no need for a general anaesthetic or to stay in hospital overnight for these procedures. Stretching (anal dilatation) was a popular treatment in the 1970s, but is seldom used now.

Surgery. There are several different operations for piles.
• In the usual operation, the swollen spongy pad that forms the pile is cut away. It is painful for 7–10 days afterwards.
• A newer operation, called ‘stapling’, involves cutting away a 2 cm strip of the lining of the rectum and joining the cut edges with a special stapler. People seem to recover quicker from ‘stapling’ than from the ordinary operation. It is not yet a common operation in the UK, but it is popular in the rest of Europe. Although it is less painful than the ordinary operation, it seems to be less effective in the long-term and about 12% of people have a recurrence of the piles within 16 months (Surgery 2006;24(4):148–50). However, more research is needed.
• Another type of operation uses ultrasound to locate the arteries that feed blood into the pile. These arteries are then closed off using stitches. Bleeding from the pile decreases over the following few weeks. This treatment is becoming more popular, partly because it does not involve any cutting and is almost painless. More research is needed to see if it is effective in the long-term.

THREE APPLES CHANGED THE COURSE OF HISTORY.ONE CHANGED EVE.SECOND ONE CHANGED NEWTON.THE THIRD IS IN THE HANDS OF STEVE.

HE IS INSPIRATION TO MILLIONS
Steven Paul Steve Jobs (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011)] was an American computer entrepreneur and innovator. He was co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc. Jobs also previously served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney.
In the late 1970s, Jobs—along with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Mike Markkula and others—designed, developed, and marketed one of the first commercially successful lines of personal computers, the Apple II series. In the early 1980s, Jobs was among the first to see the commercial potential of Xerox PARC's mouse-driven graphical user interface, which led to the creation of the Macintosh.] After losing a power struggle with the board of directors in 1985, Jobs resigned from Apple and founded NeXT, a computer platform development company specializing in the higher-education and business markets. Apple's subsequent 1996 buyout of NeXT brought Jobs back to the company he co-founded, and he served as its interim CEO from 1997, then becoming permanent CEO from 2000 onwards. After resigning as CEO in August 2011, Jobs was elected chairman of Apple's board of directors and held that title until his death.
In 1986, he acquired the computer graphics division of Lucasfilm Ltd, which was spun off as Pixar Animation Studios. He was credited in Toy Story(1995) as an executive producer.[11] He remained CEO and majority shareholder at 50.1 percent until its acquisition by The Walt Disney Company in 2006] Consequently Jobs became Disney's largest individual shareholder at 7 percent and a member of Disney's Board of Director
On October 5, 2011, Jobs died in California at age 56, seven years after being diagnosed withpancreatic cancer

ONE GOD ,ONE RELIGION,ONE NATION-AN INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR HELD AT TIRUNALVALEY -KEY NOTE SPEACH OF Dr.KESIRAJU RAMPRASAD

I attended International religious conference held at Tirunavali in Tamilnadu. When I received the invitation from Kishore Eluru, I puzzled and bewildered for some time. “How an educational psychologist and counselor address the religious conference as a keynote speaker.” Then I remembered Lord Krishna is the first counselor, who inspired Arjun in the battle field. So I decided to attend the meeting.
The conference is organized by Sri Lahari Krishna Organization. I don't anything about the organization. So I got some books from Lahari Krishna Organization. I read Lord Lahari Krishna biography. His original name is Paul Assir. He is popular known as Lord Lahari Muttukrishna. His arrival was in advance scripted in Muttukuti Swami (a sage near Kanyakumari) scriptures. His preaching are wonderful and exemplary. I am impressed. His sons Devaseer Upasana Raja and Devaseer Leo Raja are organizing the ashram. The devotees are very simple and humble. Their services in the organisation are highly appreciable.
The theme of the International conference is “One God, One Faith and One Nation” It is a great concept. The title “One God, One Faith, One Nation” impressed and inspired me. It is not utopian concept. It is the need of the hour. I understand one thing after reading many religious book. The essence of all religions is “One” just like god is One. I have noted some important points which I want to share with you all.
The oneness of God refers to the fact that 'God” is one and there is no other. God alone should be worshiped. Only God is Lord overall. He has no helpers or intercessor he alone rules all creation and forgive sins. For Christians, the oneness of God is maintained even they believe in the Trinity. Trinity is 3 persons in one God not 3 Gods.
In Islam God has 99 names and attributes belonging only at him.
The Quran surah1/2:1-4 says, “He is Allah, the one, Allah the self sufficient Master upon whom all depends, is none who is comparable unto him. In Islam it is call Tawhid.
Egypsians 4:5 explains “one Lord, on faith and one Baptism.
John 10-3- says, “I and the father are one.”
7.7 Bhagavad-Gita says “God is one.”
Rig-Veda 1-16,4-46explains that “Ekamsat Vipra Bahuda Vadanthu “ explains the Truth is one. But people thought of different ways. They believe is in different ways.
Yazurvedam 32.3 explains “the truth is God.”
Sikhism says that “One universal God. The name is Truth. He is Creative, Being personified, No Fear and No Hatred. The Image of the Timeless one, Beyond Birth, Self Existent.”
The Baha’i concept of God, “They belief in one God means that the universe and all creatures and forces within it have been create by a single supernatural Being. We may pray to him in different languages and call him by different names- Allah, or Yahweh, God or Brahma nevertheless; we are speaking about the same God. We have understood him clearly.
''There is none to compare with him. There is no parallel to him, whose glory verily is great” (Yazurvedam 32.3). The concept of the oneness of God is put in a Nutshell is Omnipotence, there is nothing outside God.
God is everywhere. The Story of Prahlada indicates in Hinduism when the father of Prahlada asks. “Where is the god “.He replies, “God is everywhere?” The conversation of Avvayyar (Tamilnadu) with Lord Murugan also says that God is everywhere.
God is oneness, one without second, pure being, not separate.
It explained in every religion in one way with their uninterpretatuibs.
Why we have religious clashes, wars, turmoil’s and enmity since ages. Of course in olden days the people are not educated and may have certain dogmas. What about now. Why certain fundamentalist and orthodox are dominating in the religion. Why people are not raising their voices against them. These fundamentalist are causing great danger to the world. The world is in the clutches of Terrorism in one way or the other. So the educated youth in all religions has to raise their voices against these fundamentalists. We should not allow them to dominate.
Religion is purely personal matter of an Individual. He or She may practice any religion according to his interest and faith. Most of the nations are Secular. But most of them are Sudo Secular. The government has to take strict and stern action on those who violates secular concepts.
We fail to understand when god created this world, why the believers of God are destroying Gods created World. Is it not Curse ?The one creator from that all this wonderful creative stuff has transpired in that transition from “one to 'many' and back to one” So God is evolving, and not some static being that just sits there and waits for everybody to catch up. God is experiencing on evolution with us. Every religion believes this
“Deho Devalaya prokto, Jeevo, Deho sanatana” means the God is in every human being. Everybody is a temple of god. So there is no difference. The world is the certain of God. He is everywhere in the world. We should not destroy the world or nature. We have to understand it. Respecting nature means Respecting God and obeying him.
The concept of unity has various names, in Hinduism, Advaita, In Christian mysticism, Solipsism both mean “not two's”. Who worships different Gods born again and again who worships One God reaches that God ultimately and become part of him.
If the religion sow seeds for he-tread or if the religion transmits poisonous references or if the religion paves the way for destruction then we don't want the religion at all. Religion is meant for peaceful co-existence. We have to worship the god without any desires or desires of destruction or construction. The God has incardinated into human life because to save people. In Geeta Lord Krishna says “To save innocent and to destroy the evil he wants to born again and again.” Every drop is God and every drop is the whole ocean. That is totality i.e., unity. Gods by very name is peaceful all prevoding. He is beyond time and space. There is a story in Siva Purana “Once the Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma want to explore the beginning and ending of a Siva Linga. It a big, But they unable to find out the beginning and ending in spite of a lot of effort. God is beyond description. This is the Hindu concept of oneness of the god.
Differences in religion are due to approaches in preaching, culture, practice and beliefs subservient to the main universal belief.
The concept of oneness of God implies that there is only one God. This statement can be understood in two ways. One is all the other Gods except my God is false. The second is the form of worship, scripts, practices, beliefs, hymns and teachings, has been Godly inspired to the needs and suits of different races and folks. They all worship one God under different names. This second thinking is more apt and gives peace to nations as a whole. God is all inclusive and nothing other than god. If an ocean is thought of as a collection of millions of drops, then the next stage is to imagine skins referred each drop and differences between them. In reality, the ocean is real but the drops are a derivation, there is only one undivided drop. Just so the universe is God seen, “sub species acternitates”. The mind is flamed, like a kaleidoscope; we pop the motion 'God' into it. God is everything but everything is not god.
The knowledge of God means the knowledge of attributes and qualities of God, not a direct knowledge of his essence. There are nine ways to pray God. They are prayers, thinking, reading holy scriptures, meditation or any other node etc.
Islam rejects the idea of a chosen people that favored by god over others because of their race, color or origin. So these are a direct relationship between God and open to all alike. It is also same in all religions.
In the meanwhile some atheists believe that no creator no God. Everything in this life proves the existence of God; can you accept the existence of a building without a constructor? Can we imagine the existence of Air-conditioner without a manufacturer? Or the existence of a wheat without a farmer?
The Quran 2:256 says “There shall be no concoction in matters of faith”. It is the words of every religion. But why there are religious wars. It is not the fault of god it is fault of the religious leaders or rulers and land lords and rich people who mis-interprets them. They are spending trillions of rupees in the propagation of religion and for bribery in changing from one to another religion. Some religions are creating confusion in the minds of innocent people. Some preachers are adding Ghee or petrol into the Fire. We hate the sin but not the sinner. Le them understand the meaning of God.
In this contest we have to remember the words of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad “The unity of man is the primary aim of religion. Every prophet delivered that mankind where in reality one people and one community and that there was but one God for all of them and on that account they should serve him together and live as members of one family. This is the message every religion delivered. But what sort of practice are they doing.
“The real religion is the devotion to God and lead righteous living. Who follows it is the follower of God and salvation was his reward.”
The real meaning of Islam is peace. Are we binding real peace internally or externally in them?
Quran accepts the existential differences of human behavior and instead of wishing them away it reminds men of different faiths that will all return to god. It is a recurrent theme of the Quran. Muslims, Christians and all other religion people try to understand the greatness of god instead of spreading it in any way believe in oneness of god.
Gandhi says “Eswara, Allah Tera nam,” signifies god is one whatever the name you are praying.
Bhagavad-Gita 7-20 says those whose discrimination (jnana) has been subverted by various desires, influenced by their own nature, worship other gods and follows precepts relating to them. Their discrimination has been led astray of desires of this world as well as the next one. It means that instead of applying discrimination for God realization, they remain engaged in, satisfying their desires. They have desires for worldly pleasures and prosperity and ultimately or at the old age they want create for heavily pleasure. It is not correct concept. We have to give top priority to serving or praying god. There is a story in Mahabharata. Lord Krishna wanted to test the charity of Karana. Krishna went to his house and found him that he was taking his dinner. He went in and asked his golden teeth. Karana gave it without any hesitation by injuring himself. He donated it with blood to Krishna without cleaning hands. Krishna shouted at him. Karana replied coolely “I want to donate it in the second itself. I don't know anything about the next moment. I may change my mind in due course of washing my hand and mouth, or anything may happen. So I decide to give you on the spot”. Krishna appreciates his charity. So Karana is known as “Dana Karana”. So as we have to give priority to worship god also. We should not postpone.
Bhagavad-Gita 7:23 says who worships of the gods reach the gods.
9:25 says those who adore the evil spirits, join the evil spirits. But those who worship the God attain the God alone.
Bhagavad-Gita 10-10 says a devotee of the lord, has no desire to gain wisdom or equanimity or anything else besides the Lord. They ever remain absorbed in him so this whole responsibility devolves on the lord. So the lord confers the yoga of wisdom, on them.
It is also accepted by all the religions. “: All men approach me, so I receive them. All Path.” God is not the god of particular people or the god of this or that religion. God is the god of all. So we have not discriminated God to a particular religion. We should have tolerance. We should understand the significance of the above lines in different religions.
Respecting other religions is nothing but respecting God only.
So Live and Let Live Others.

Behaviour Identification theory

How to identify a person or categorize a person is a billion dollar question since ages. Though we have explored oceans, conquered skies, probed into secrete of the earth, but we are unable to read a person or identify a person’s characteristics. We are not able to understand the behavior of a person who responds typically in different situations.

There are certain scales or batteries to identify a person’s character and behavior. In my 25 years of varied experience in dealing with people and interactions with the intellectuals from different walks of life has helped me to evolve a group and individual behavior theory.

This theory helps people in all spheres of activity both at managerial and administrative levels irrespective of cultural, religious and caste barriers to identify the people and their characteristics so that they can categorize them without any difficulty. It is a multipurpose tool which can be used to recognize the strong points in the characteristics of others so that their potentials can be maximized.

This theory has been experimented and it helps to identify the causes for the mood disasters and other disorders. An individual’s response in a situation depends on various factors such as brought up in a family, environment, attitudes, value system and intuition, internal and external motivations. Sometimes one may compromise to a give a situation in order to achieve a long term goal. Certain values or returns determine the character of a person. The returns may be in the form of money, goods or love and affection, appreciation, support, name and fame, respect etc. Once a value system is established for himself/herself by an individual because of his/her experiences and various stimulus received through internal and external factors through cognition, he or she will not change the system easily. One’s achievement and success will not give the same kind of inspiration to others on equal proportions. It varies. For example promotion in the job to one person gives him immense satisfaction but the same may affect the performance of another person. Why certain people are indifferent or irrational in a given situation; why certain people are selfish and some other people are selfless; why some people want power and some others refuse power; why some people are distractive and some others are calm and quiet are probing questions to investigate.

This theory helps to identify the people into 9 categories by the use of 9 colors as attributes. With the help of this theory we can effectively use and influence different people and entrust different jobs to them in order to get the maximum returns. We can handle the people effectively without coercive and dominant ways. Allotting a job for a select group of people is a challenge for many managers and leaders. If we know the art, we can handle effectively using their quality traits with the help of this theory. For the sake of identification 9 different colors are allotted to different kinds of people. The allotment also makes it easy to recall and the retention.

The significance of Nine is also important in attributing the personalities.
The theory also focuses on why some people suddenly undergo the mood changes and disturbance. In such moments they outrage. Then in the next moment they are relaxed and behave fairly positively. Another interesting thing about such people is that they hardly remember the ugly storm created by them a few moments before.

This theory tells us that there are certain times when an individual will forced to behave indifferent ways that are not same with their Natural Behavior. This theory helps us what type of benefits we should give to affirm an individual personal value and self esteem. For example a big promotion, big office and power would satisfy more the self esteem of Red than a Green. This theory helps us to see which of the nine recognized factors they use when matters are moving smoothly and what things they use when they faced a conflict. This tool helps to prioritize things when we face a struggle moment that we cannot resolve peacefully.

GOALS

Goals

(Continuation of article GOAL SETTING)

For every cause, there is an effect, and for every effect, there is specific cause. There are no accidents. What you sow, so you reap. Know your internal calling. Decide your desire or goal. Clarity of thinking is the starting point of any achievement. We can have anything we want in life if we decide what we want to achieve, and then do the things that others have done to achieve the same result. So We have to decide when to start out, know where you want to go. Clarity of desired goals is like a magnet that brings good wishes to us.

Let us identify our goals we want to achieve in our lives. What are things we want to achieve immediately and in the near future and our ultimate final, end goal? People who believe in themselves achieve great success.

Great performers attract success. We must keep the goals, we desire to achieve at the conscious and subconscious of our mind throughout our activities. We have to repeat our desires at least five times a day. We have to visualize our goals we want to achieve them. Flexibility and coping ability are the important qualities for success in any time of competition.
Goal setting and achieving ones one goal at a time are highly essential for success in one’s Endeavour

Making Life Time Goals

The most important step in setting goals is making personal goals which may be your life time goal or long term goal. Making life time goals involves important aspects of decision making.
Setting life time goals includes Education, Career, Financial Attitude, Mental. Spiritual, Artistic, Philanthropic, Pleasure. Etc

1. Educational Goals:-
2. Career Goals
3. Financial Goals
4. Attitude Goals
5. Artistic Goals
6. Spiritual Goals
7. Philanthropic Goals
8. Pleasure Goals
9. Family Goals

Goal Setting Example
Goals may be clarified as Five year goals, One year goals, Six month goal, One month goal, One week goal

I just came across this story, quite an old one. (Heard some where) Check if it would be apt

Chuan and Jing joined a wholesale company together just after
graduation. Both worked very hard.
After several years, the boss promoted Jing to sales executive
but Chuan remained a sales rep. One day Chuan could not take
it anymore, tender resignation to the boss and complained the boss did not value hard working staff, but only promoted those who flattered him.

The boss knew that Chuan worked very hard for the years, but in order to help Chuan realise the difference between him and
Jing, the boss asked Chuan to do the following.
Go and find out anyone selling water melon in the market?
Chuan returned and said yes.
The boss asked how much per kg?
Chuan went back to the market to ask and returned to inform
boss the $12 per kg.
Boss told Chuan, I will ask Jing the same question?
Jing went, returned and said, boss, only one person selling
water melon. $12 per kg, $100 for 10 kg, he has inventory of 340 melons. On the table 58 melons, every melon weighs about
15 kg, bought from the South two days ago, they are fresh and
red, good quality.
Chuan was very impressed and realized the difference between
himself and Jing. He decided not to resign but to learn from
Jing.

If we would make use our goals realized successfully we have to use this technique
We would make each day better than one that passed,
and make the world better in ways that last. If we made each day better, a little bit more; every day would be better than ever before.
With the goal in our mind to be better each day,We made the world better in work and play. We worked harder at school and in work place to learn all we could. We would be kind to others. It made others feel good.

What make life different?

Do you know what make life different? The answer is Goal setting.
I remember a famous Harvard business school story. They evaluated a group of students in college, and then re-evaluated those 10 years later. The study found out that the students who had been the most successful in life weren’t the ones who had achieved the highest grades. They were the ones who had specific goals, 10 years ago.
You can see that the big difference between successful people and unsuccessful people. Successful people have their goals in mind. They know where they want to go and finally they get there. So you need to start with a target, a destination, a goal.
You may ask me: “How to achieve goals? It is easier said than done.” You are right. Many people fail not because they don’t have goals, they fail because they haven’t achieved their goals, giving up during the journey. There is a long road from goal to success.
Don’t worry. I will be here to help you achieve your goals more easily. Not only to set your goals properly, but also to achieve them finally. You will achieve goal setting success in the end. Trust you!

GOAL SETTING

We want to set the goals that our heart conceives, that our mind believes and that our bodies will carry out
Jim Rohn

Albert Einstein

David Bryan
A goal properly set is halfway reached.
Abraham Lincoln

Benjamin Mays
Your attitude, not your aptitude, determines your altitude.
Zig Ziglar
The most important thing about goals is having one.
Geoffry F. Abert

Instead of worrying about what people say of you, why not spend time trying to accomplish something they will admire.
Dale Carnegie
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.
Zig Zigler
Choosing a goal and sticking to it changes everything.
Scott Reed
You have to do what you love to do, not get stuck in that comfort zone of a regular job. Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it.
Lucinda Basset

Goals give you more than a reason to get up in the morning; they are an incentive to keep you going all day. Goals tend to tap the deeper resources and draw the best out of life.
Harway Macey
All successful people have a goal. No one can get anywhere unless he knows where he wants to go and what he wants to be or do.
Norman Vincent Peale
For me, goals are my road map to the life I want. They have helped me accomplish things I once thought were impossible.
Catherine Pulsifer

A goal is the end toward which effort is directed. Goals are dreams and wants except a goal is more specific.

 The purpose of goals is to give you something that you want to enhance your life in some way, so the most important thing you need to know about goals is that you ought to have some.
Setting goal is something easy to do, but keeping them in your mind will be another story. A lot of people know how to set their goals and they know what they want to accomplish in their lives, however, they are not keeping these goals in their mind.

In other words, we have to consistently reviewing your goals from time to time. If possible, review our goals once in the morning after we wake up and once at night time before we go to bed. What we need to do is just to read our goals, affirm them and if possible, visualize about them.

We must link our goals into our subconscious so that we will take action automatically to achieve them.

This is why reviewing our goal consistently is so important. When we review and think about our goals consistently, we are actually making it a habit to think about it. And in the same time, linking what we want to accomplish in our life into our subconscious mind.
Goal setting is one of the most powerful techniques that we can use to help we accomplish what we really want in your life.

The problem is that most people still fail to create the life they want even with the help of goal setting. Why?
The answer might be we don’t know how goal setting really works. We see, by simply writing down what we want to have in your life on a piece of paper is not the magic step that will help us making it come true.

The main problem most people face with goal setting is that we cannot stay focused with our goals all the time.

In fact, one of the reasons goal setting works wonderfully is because it helps people to stay focused in their daily lives. Setting a goal will lead us and direct us toward the place we want to end up.

As for those who don’t have any goal, they will never bother about it. This is what separates successful people and super achiever from ordinary people.

So the key to successful goal setting is to stay focused in our goals until we conditioned them into our subconscious mind so that we’ll think about our goals automatically without having to remind ourselves about it.

1. Use Affirmation: - write down our affirmations on a card and put it inside our pocket
2. Write down our Goals
3. Create a Vision Board
4. There Are Many Ways To Do This, Be Creative!
Yes, there are many ways how we can accomplish this, we just have to be creative and make our goals as tangible as possible
5. If we fail to achieve our goals, it is mainly because of this ‘secret’.
Many people set their goal to be financially independent, but most of them fail to make it come true. Why is this so?
The reason is simple; it is because achieving their financial goal is NOT their main definite purpose in life.
Money is just the byproduct or the results of our action. Money is not going to solve your problems. It is true that you need money to buy cars, houses, boats, and more. However, it is not an end.
What we truly want to get from our financial goal is the feeling that it can give you
6. Getting it right: Means goal vs. End goal
7. The detail-ness: - When setting goals, the more detailed and descriptive we make the goal the better. Remember, clarity is power. Go further than the what, why, how, when, who questions. Make it as detail as possible.
Making our goal setting very descriptive will give us more motivation and determination to achieve it. By describing it clearly, it no longer just seems like a wish or longing, but rather something that is possible.
8. Create positive motivation to inspire us to take action.
9. Make use of punish and reward system.
10. Spend 15 minutes everyday to visualize the achievement of our goals.
11. Make a public commitment about our goals.
12. Never forget about the reasons why we want to achieve our goals.
13. Never Lose Sight of our Goal
14. Don’t Procrastinate

Types of Goals

Long Term Goals:
10-year, 5-year and 1-year goals
Short Term Goals:
goals for the next 9 months, 6 months and 3 months
Immediate Goals:
1-30 days from now

"TIME IS LIFE. TO WASTE YOUR TIME IS TO WASTE YOUR LIFE; TO MANAGE YOUR TIME IS TO MANAGE YOUR LIFE." -- ALAN LAKEIN

F.R.A.M.E
Fantasize - Dream your wildest dreams and make sure that your goals match your values. Ask yourself: what do you want to be doing in 1 year? 5 years? What kind of person do I want to be?
Reality - Fantasies can become reality, depending on how hard you are willing to work for them.
Aim - Define your goal(s) by striking a balance between Fantasy and Reality; set a high but realistic goal.
Method – Be truthful to yourself by narrowing your choices or goals to the ones you really intend to accomplish. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
Evaluation - Process the results, but don’t make it the last step; evaluation should be on going.
S.M.A.R.T

 The Goal should be SPECIFIC enough so that we know exactly for what we are striving.
A goal must be MEASURABLE. It should have concrete facts. We should be able to answer very specifically, when and how we will know we attained our goal
ACTION-ORIENTED, declaring positive activity that will produce results.
 A goal must be REALISTIC. Challenging ourselves is an important part of goal setting. We want to aim high; however, we also need to be realistic.
TANGIBLE meaning concrete and not vague.

Steps toward Setting Effective Goals

1. Set Goals
2. Identify possible strategies or objectives to reach each goal.
3. Select the best strategies
4. Outline specific plans to accomplish each strategy.
5. Motivation
6. Commitment
7. BE FLEXIBLE

The Benefits of Setting Goals

 Suffer less from stress and anxiety
 Concentrate better
 Show more self-confidence
 Perform better
 Are happier

THE GREATNESS OF THIS MAN

Please go through the below conversation – It’s worthwhile spending a few minutes reading these few lines

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his cl-ass on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.

He asks one of his new students to stand and.....

Prof:
So you believe in God?

Student:
Absolutely, sir.

Prof:
Is God good?

Student:
Sure.

Prof:
Is God all-powerful?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof:
You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
Is Satan good?

Student:
No.

Prof:
Where does Satan come from?
Student:
From...God.. .

Prof:
That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
So who created evil?

(Student does not answer.)

Prof:
Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?

Student:
Yes, sir.

Prof:
So, who created them?

(Student has no answer.)

Prof:
Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Tell me, son...Have you ever seen God?

Student:
No, sir.

Prof:
Tell us if you have ever heard your God?

Student:
No, sir.

Prof:
Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?

Student:
No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof:
Yet you still believe in Him?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student:
Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof:
Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student:
Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Prof:
Yes.

Student:
And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof:
Yes.

Student:
No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student:
Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat.
But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go
any further after that.

There is no such thing as cold . Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat

.. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy . Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student:
What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Prof:
Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student :
You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In
reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make
darkness darker, wouldn't you?

Prof:
So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student:
Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Prof:
Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student:
Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof:
If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.

Student:
Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student:
Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The cl-ass is in uproar.)

Student:
Is there anyone in the cl-ass who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The cl-ass breaks out into laughter.)

Student:
Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent.. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable. )

Prof:
I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student:
That is it sir... The link between man & God is FAITH . That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

NB: I believe you have enjoyed the conversation. .
this is a true story, and the

student was none other than......... .

tips to deal adolesents
Tips to deal Adolesents
By kesirajuramprasad
An article on ADOLESCENCE

Dr.Kesiraju Ramprasad

Educational Psychologist

Adolescence is the transitional period between childhood and maturity between the ages of 11 to 20. The word adolescence is Latin in origin derived from the verb ‘adolescere’, which means “to grow’ into adulthood. Adolescence is a time of moving from the immaturity of childhood into the maturity of Adulthood. There is no boundary line that denotes the end of childhood or the beginning of Adolescence. It touches many aspects of the individual’s behavior, development and relationships. These transitions are biological, cognitive, social and emotional. There are so many physical changes that occur in the growing of a girl or boy as the individual passes from childhood into adulthood. The physical changes are triggered by ‘hormones’, chemical substances in the body that act on specific organs and tissues. In boys changes incurred production of Testosterone a male sex hormone, while girl’s experiences increased production of the female hormone Estrogen.

In this period secondary sexual characteristics appear, girls and boys begin to look like mature women and men. In boys the appearance of pubic hair and it grows coarser and thicker.

Children who are in adolescents think that are more advances, more efficient, and more complex. During adolescence they are thing better than what is possible, instead of limiting their thought to what is real. They can think hypothetically. They can think about abstract ideas. The Adolescents increased facility and interest in thinking about interpersonal relationships, politics, philosophy, religion and morality, friendship, faith, democracy, fairness and honesty. In this period they develop egocentrism. They are more likely to question others assertions and less likely to accept facts as absolute truths.

Many parents and teachers wonder about the susceptibility of adolescents to peer pressure. Susceptibility to the influence of parents and peers changes during adolescence. Many adolescents today have problems and are getting into trouble. There is a lot of pressure include poverty, violence, parental problems, friends and family. They have concerned about significant issues such as religion, gender roles, values or ethnicity. Child may feel scared, angry, frustrated or hopeless. They may feel guilty where they went wrong. Of course these feelings are normal but it is essential to understand each other.

Problems in the parents frequent fighting or hostility among the family members, problems in the school or environment can also be cause for the behavior problems. Some other factors such as youth attention, hyperactivity, learning disorders, volatile, temperament and even the early onset of adolescence.

They have irrespirable perceptions about dress, fashion codes, wrong and unrealistic ideologies about friendship and courtship.
